Caswell Trails Access
AOAA projects focus on protecting public access, supporting responsible land management, and ensuring Alaskan voices are represented in land-use decisions across the state.
Caswell Trails Access
In the Caswell Trails area, community members have been working to reopen trails that were shut down after private landowners restricted access. These routes matter for local recreation and for keeping traditional outdoor use available in the Mat-Su region.
Alaska Outdoor Access Alliance is hosting Caswell Trails Access work sessions so neighbors, trail users, and partners can coordinate next steps on restoring and protecting access.
Work sessions:
Saturday, September 19, 2026, 10:00–11:00 AM Alaska time
Saturday, October 3, 2026, 10:00–11:00 AM Alaska time
Location: Caswell Trails
AOAA invites community members who care about keeping these trails open to join a session, share on-the-ground knowledge, and help move access forward.
